A2A BlottMatthews Announcement

The Airport to Airport (A2A) BlottMatthews challenge competition has now been judged and the results announced and published at ‘www.blottmatthews.com’.

We recognize that it was a demanding competition as evidenced by the number of teams which dropped out. We are very aware of the importance of the teaching staff involved who create and encourage the teams and spur them on to complete the task. So we extend our warm thanks to them all for helping make the competition successful and an event which we personally find very rewarding.

We also wish to acknowledge the support given by Heather Williams, CEO of Young Engineers both in organizational matters and with the judging. We are very grateful for her efforts.

The judging could not have been properly undertaken without the expert input of Paul Evans, a professional architect who gave comprehensive assessments of the team submissions in the areas of route planning and civil engineering. Our warm thanks go to him for the time and effort which he put into the task.

Finally we confirm that we will be running another BlottMatthews challenge competition in 2017 / 18 and expect to announce the outline details in late June.
